This documentary portrays the strategy developed by the Xavante indigenous nation in their attempts to preserve their territory and keep their traditions untouched. Based on the poignant personal stories of young Xavante men sent to study the customs of modern Brazilian society, in order to become the spokespersons for their people and bridge the gap between absorbing the culture and customs of urban Brazil and protect their indigenous heritage and lifestyle.
