6th BRAZIL FILM FEST
Partnership and sponsorship opportunities for 2012’s Festival.
This year, let’s celebrate RioFilme’s 20th anniversary at the 6th Brazil Film Fest in Toronto, with a selection of ten successful features produced and/or distributed by RioFilme.
RioFilme is an equity and P&A investment company owned by the City of Rio, whose main goal is to help establish Rio as Latin America’s main center for cinema, TV and new media. The company invests in projects by companies based in the city – including movies, TV series, festivals, awards, and movie theaters.
The 6th Brazil Film Fest in Toronto will be the occasion where ten of its most successful features, since its birth in 1992, will be shown. This is 20 years of Brazilian cinema, depicting comedy, passion, humour, adventures, and culture from Rio.
A successful history
2011 saw a huge success for the 5th Brazil Film Fest. The event grew up, welcoming the audience in two different Cultural Centers, the already famous Royal Theatre and our new partner the TIFF Bell Lightbox, that we were pleased to receive for the first time in our event, during the special Opening Night.
The 2011 Brazil Film Fest partnered with some of the most influential arts/film festivals of Toronto, like Hot Docs, Inside Out, AluCine Toronto Latin Film & Media Arts Festival, Lula Music & Arts Center, the Toronto Portuguese Film Festival, and BRAZUCA. With great media coverage and marketing, with paid ads in the print media, and posters spread throughout the city raised the Festival’s presence in Toronto.
The Brazil Film Fest not only showcases Brazilian films, but also works to create opportunities to develop and consolidate professional and creative contacts between Brazil and Canada. If your company has an active presence in the Canadian and/or the Brazilian markets, or if your company wants to have a presence in these two markets, the festival can be the opportunity you have been looking for.
With renewed sponsors and support from within levels of the Canadian and Brazilian governments, the 2011 Brazil Film Fest kept its important role in the cultural scene of one of the most populous city in Canada.
Your sponsorship for 2012 will help consolidate your marketing strategy by either introducing or reinforcing your brand amongst a multi-cultural audience of Brazilians and Canadians.
Marketing the way you want and need
The Festival is a great opportunity for our sponsors to introduce their brand and products to a highly qualified audience as much as to our other selected sponsors and partners. Our event can be the chance you always wanted to get close to other companies and entities doing business in one or in both countries, and of course, a chance to get close to their clients.
We can also develop exclusively tailored marketing efforts for you and your guests. We are always open to embrace new marketing strategies, public relations efforts, and publicity plans that could target your employees, partners, or clients (actual and prospective).
