Synopsis:
Born in a favela in Belo Horizonte, the youngest of a family of 10 brothers and sisters, Roberto Carlos is 6 years by her mother placed in an institution for underprivileged children in the hope of a better future. At 13, he is still illiterate and after multiple fugues, it is considered unrecoverable. His meeting with Marguerite, French educator, will change his life.
Based on a true story, this film tells the fascinating path of Roberto Carlos, yesterday street child, now a professor and a great storyteller.

Director Biography:
Luiz Villaca is an independent director of São Paulo. Trained in communication, he began his career in advertising and as an assembler at the age of 17. Today he is a screenwriter and director of his own films as: Por Trás do Pano (1999), Cristina Quer Casar (2003).
