Synopsis:
São Paulo, May 2006: 40 police officers are killed as a result of gang violence. The “PCC" organized crime group takes ownership for this act. The clash between criminals and the police triggers waves of violence throughout the country. Time of Fear tells the story of a recently widowed piano teacher whose only son is sentenced to prison for the death of a young woman just before this violent outbreak. Desperate to free him, she becomes involved with the criminal organization behind the attacks that threaten to turn São Paulo into a living hell. Based on real events.
