Ana Jobim
2007 // 58mins // colour // documentary // Digibeta English Subtitles

Over 15 years, Ana Jobim gathered 3000 images and 8 hours of footage that illustrate the love story between her and her husband Tom Jobim, musician, and father of Bossa Nova. Narrated by Ana Jobim herself, the story is structured around the poem Chapadão that Jobim began writing around the time they chose the land where they would build their home in the neighborhood "Jardim Botânico" in Rio de Janeiro. Full of exceptional moments of Jobim's life, the film is an intimate portrait of a husband and father who also led an extraordinary public life as a musician and creator of some of the greatest standards of Brazilian music.
